Described as a Creative Juicer, Mark empowers people to be more creative by using the practice of Design Thinking”Inspired by the next generation, Mark formed social enterprise Design Nature CIC in 2021 with fellow design engineer Erica Purvis and headteacher Karen Gracie-Langrick, to engage primary and secondary school pupils encouraging them to use design thinking to create actionable, sustainable solutions for people and the planet…supporting them in addressing the ‘climate crisis’. Mark is also currently teaching at the Loughborough University, Design School, working with both undergraduate and postgraduate students.Established in 2013, Mark is founder and director at Design Thinking Ltd. where he enables individuals and organisations of all sizes to unlock their creative potential. Commencing in 1993, Mark was a design engineer, an industrial designer and co-founder of the UK design team, alongside being a member of the design leadership team at Nokia, where he worked for 20 years.Mark holds an MSc in Engineering Design from Cranfield University and a BA Hons in Industrial Design from Birmingham City University and has a track record of creating and delivering world-class products and services throughout his 30+ year career.Expertise: Design Thinking, Design Education, Design Strategy, Creativity and Workshop Facilitation to drive Innovation Culture, Employee Engagement and Organisational Development.
