ABOUT MANUEL MANRIQUE OPORTO

Passionate developer, always looking for new challenges. I love reading about the best developing practices in the world, as well as implementing them in my everyday work.Over the last years I\'ve been a developer in many projects, helping the team achieve the goals of the project while implementing a better developing process.I love coaching junior teams to understand and love the developing world. While teaching, I learn many things as well.In the past I\'ve workedin Avantica Techonlogies (a software development company with offices in Perú, Costa Rica and United States) as a Software developer, I\'ve had the chance to improve the design of several projects while applying Design Patterns, best practices and Agile methodologies, unit testing, and providing new technologies that improve the performance and features of the app.Later, I worked for Switchfly, which is a company based on San Francisco. It provided several challenges not only for the backend, but also for the frond end. I\'ve changed many things about me and the way I used to tackle the problems in applications. Pairing is a thing of every day and you have to be more communicative. I was responsible for doing Design and Estimates, solve bugs and develop new features that go through a very detailed process of Quality Assurance, so work here has to be top-notch.
