Took a break from my finance career to pursue a lifelong dream to write a book in the summer of 2020. Started writing a story about a confused, ambitious kid growing up in suburban Chicago in the 1980s. Classrooms for Cambodia is a charitable project started by my wife, Noelle, and I in January 2009. The purpose of C4C was to finance, build and staff a junior high school in rural Cambodia. Our school opened in October 2009 and provides a 7th - 9th grade education to more than 100 students annually. Our school provides its community the first opportunity to get a 7th - 9th grade education in more than 30 years. To-date, we have exceeded our original fundraising goal by more than 100%.
