Formed and scaled a set of multi-disciplinary engineering teams to design and develop software products to enable adoption of Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, and GCP) and enhance Developer Experience, with emphasis on Compliance Engineering. Shipped a solution providing programmatic delivery of cloud environments via a simple portal – fully configured and validated cloud environments for AWS/Azure/GCP in sub 20 minutes with all Sky compliance guardrails applied. Scaled to of deployments.Designed and deployed an in-house built A.I. Gateway product that allows dev teams to consume approved LLMs with automated compliance guardrails and controls. Extending to provide developers portal-based on-demand provisioning of ‘GPU-as-a-Service’ (cloud and bare metal GPU). Delivered an automated ‘path to production’ solution hosting \'00s of applications that allows dev teams to generate CI/CD pipelines to deploy code into any environment with zero human interaction, review, or approvals. Uses pre-approved pipeline shapes with all mandated compliance interactions pre-configured so dev teams can simply bring their own logic. Includes automated change and security approvals.Conceived and shipped an enterprise grade CI/CD-as-a-Service platform based on Concourse CI, hosting hundreds of application teams performing 50-60k builds per week and over 1 million build minutes per month. Created and effected the supporting service architecture (service catalogue, rate card, operating model etc.)Led the development and deployment of a hybrid multi-cloud Internal Developer Portal based on Spotify Backstage.Oversaw hiring, succession planning, goal setting, and performance management across the Engineering teams. Performed resource management using a mixture of staff engineers, contingent, and offshore resources.Fostered a culture of creativity, collaboration, speed and innovation by coaching, training, and mentoring technical staff to support long-term career development.
