ABOUT MICHAEL C LUBRANO
My current clinical role is that of Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, I specialize in pain management and anesthesiology, balancing 60% outpatient interventional pain medicine and 40% inpatient anesthesiology practice. My focus is on fluoroscopy- and ultrasound-guided injections, spinal cord stimulator trials and implants, intrathecal pump implants, and interspinous spacer implants for spinal stenosis. I also serve as the Chronic Pain Resident Rotation Director, supervising anesthesiology residents and contributing to their professional growth. Beyond my clinical role, I bring over seven years of advisory experience with the American Medical Association\'s RVS Update Committee, where I represent ASIPP/Pain Medicine to influence Medicare\'s physician reimbursement policies. As a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians\' Board of Directors, I contribute to organizational, educational, and fiduciary decisions. My work is informed by my background and interests in healthcare policy, public health, and healthcare management.
