New responsibilities as of Jan. 17, 2013: Edit the station Web site and coordinate training with NPR Digital. Increase use of and consistency of social media by WKSU. Provide depth stories originating in the Stark, Summit and Wayne county areas. On-air hosting.Former responsibilities: Coordinate and edit the work of a staff of eight, which covers Northeast Ohio. Also, anchor newscasts, do features and cover breaking news. Revamped the station Web site,(WKSU.org) and am charged with keeping it updated and vital; recruit and train students to augment the work of regular reporting staff; appear on public issues talk shows.
