ABOUT MARY LYNN MCPHERSON
I have been a faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy for over 30 years and currently serve as a Professor and Executive Director, Advanced Post-Graduate Education in Palliative Care in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science. I also serve as the Executive Director of Graduate Studies in Palliative Care, which includes six graduate certificates, a Master of Science program, and a Doctor of Philosophy program in palliative care (graduate.umaryland.edu/palliative). I have dedicated my career to the appropriate use of medications at the end of life, and to the education of hospice and palliative care practitioners and students.
