About Miranda Gaona

I am a graduate of the Arizona State University Master of Science in Digital Audience Strategy program. I graduated with a 4.27 gpa and received the Outstanding Graduate Student award. This innovative program has helped me to master a variety of important digital marketing skills. In addition to my studies as a graduate student, I worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for four courses at ASU.Before my time at ASU, I completed my Bachelors of Arts in Communication and Sociology at University of Colorado Denver. I then continued my studies at the University of Texas at Austin graduate journalism school. During my time at UT, I was the teaching assistant for the Social Media Journalism course. I helped my students learn about distributing news online, adapt content based on the needs of particular platforms, learn how to use analytics to gain information about their audience, grow organic social media followings and ultimately become a journalist with a cutting-edge skill set for an ever-increasing shift to digital platforms. It quickly became clear that all organizations - not just newsrooms - were rushing to leverage the internet for content distribution. At this point, I knew I wanted to shift my studies to digital content marketing, strategy and production.From monitoring trends and observing metrics to increasing brand awareness and optimizing content for search engines, I am confident in my ability to design innovative and successful marketing campaigns. I thrive in fast-paced environments and I produce high-quality work that drives audience engagement and affinity. I have relevant certifications including Google Analytics & Google Ads. I have experience with HTML, CSS, Python and R.
