Washington, DC, US

The Smithsonian Institution is the world’s largest museum, education, and research complex, with 21 museums and the National Zoo—shaping the future by preserving heritage, discovering new knowledge, and sharing our resources with the world. We are a community of learning and an opener of doors.I facilitate efficient executive operations and communications for the Smithsonian\'s governing Board of Regents. I create, edit, and review media materials, draft meeting minutes, manage board research requests, and partner with the Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff in the development and execution of our events, programs, and projects. We’ve modernized how our Board operates by using technology, including SharePoint sites and Diligent board management tools, which has improved overall communication, reduced inefficiencies around projects and deadlines, and increased Board engagement.I plan our annual Public Forum which has seen an increase in attendance across 8 countriesand 19 states, manage an executive production calendar, and have led our annual privacy assessments.
