About Mary Leneghan

Growing up with both of my parents being criminal defense, family law, and business attorneys, I have always been surrounded by criminal and social justice values.I currently attend The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. For the next three years, I will be working towards a Juris Doctorate degree. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati a semester early in December of 2021. I obtained a Criminal Justice major, Forensics Populations certificate, and a Women\'s, Gender, and Sexuality studies minor. I was an active member of the UC Pre-Law club. For two years in between my education, I worked as an invoice clerk and manager at North Shore Strapping, a strapping and packaging company, where I handled the correspondence and finance department. Additionally, I worked as a legal assistant with Leneghan and Leneghan Attorneys at Law where I assisted the head attorneys. At the University of Cincinnati, I interned with the Ohio Innocence Project through the University of Cincinnati Law School and worked through the Learning Commons as an Academic Coach. Outside of my education and work, I am passionate about hiking, traveling, reading, painting, sketching, baking, and making plans for my future success. I have established a good balance between my work, academic, social, and personal activities which contributes to my time management and organizational skills.
