ABOUT KATHLEEN WILSON

With 30+ years of experience in IT, I am an IT adoption and velocity leader bringing to the table a solid background in IT Operations and Consulting. Further, I design solutions in support of Data and AI solutions.I have been an Azure Architect, a consultant in Microsoft Consulting Services Canada who focused on assisting Customers with the adoption of Microsoft products, Service Manager, Service Management and Private Cloud. My super power is Connectivity, I enjoy learning from everyone and building connections with \"Smart Buddies\"Currently an ITIL v3 Expert, I am strongly credentialed with qualifications among others including ITIL Foundation certification. Additionally, I have co-authored a MS Press book, Optimizing Service Manager and was a contributing author to the System Center 2012 Service Manager Unleashed book and most recently created the Modern Service Management for Azure Whitepaper and Channel 9 videoBeing an Edutainer, I have spoken at many internal and external Microsoft/industry events where audiences have enjoyed my passionate and entertaining approach to how to make complex IT approaches actionable, customer and business focused. Passionate about my role, I actively tweet about intelligent cloud organizations get people to rethink traditional Service Management fundamentals and people to make them more modern and actionable with enabling technologies. When digitally transforming, ensure enough focus is on the human elements of IT, cause if you don\'t address the changing world of technology in terms that humans can understand, the technology doesn\'t bring the value and capabilities to the organization.
