I co-founded Relate with two partners because we all believe in the power of personal relationships to win issues. When a decision-maker can relate to your side of an issue through personal connections with advocates, you win. In this role, I have:Earned client relationships across healthcare, energy, and automotive sectors and led client acquisition efforts that tripled revenue over the company’s lifespan.Provided communications planning, content development, and stakeholder engagement counsel to the CEO and executive team of public sector healthcare payor.Led work with four national non-profit disease groups. I developed community-building strategies, content, and mobilization plans to grow their advocacy programs’ size and effectiveness and help pass priority legislation. I created a strategy that doubled a client’s following and open rate in seven months.Worked with a North Carolina-based non-profit to develop a youth-focused behavioral health policy. I managed a campaign that generated a seven-fold increase in stakeholder support for legislation. Managed grassroots and grasstops campaigns to help an auto sector association generate the highest-ever level of support for priority legislation in the U.S. House of Representatives.Created a comprehensive grassroots plan for a North Carolina-based public power provider organization.
