Duties have ranged from staff, provider, and operations management, performance of all front desk duties including checking patients in and out, appointment scheduling, provider schedule management, referrals, billing, marketing, accounts receivable and multi-tasking in high volume, busy practices. Most recent role was Patient Care Coordinator for a busy Physical Therapy Practice, in which I handled all phone calls, patient scheduling, clinician schedules, referrals, tracking, reporting, and follow up of all patients regarding their status and clinical outcomes; developing excellent professional relationships with referring providers to become their preferred physical therapy resource; troubleshooting current processes, tools, and resources, or the lack thereof, in relation to meeting state board requirements, Medicare, self-referral and other regulatory requirements, while providing efficient, effective, high-level patient care with above-expectations results. Priorities include superior, compassionate customer service and care; being team-focused, supportive and encouraging to all coworkers and other medical professionals involved, as well as being very detailed with high quality, accurate documentation, and professionalism. All these add up to increased quality of life for both the patient and the professional service-giver. This is my passion and my goal.
