I build and scale new businesses at Amazon. Currently leading NOVA (New Opportunities, Ventures & APIs) for Amazon Shipping, where we incubate products and infrastructure that open up new growth surfaces.Previously, I built and ran two Amazon subsidiaries and led large-scale initiatives across eCommerce, CPG, Grocery, App Marketplaces, and AWS. My work tends to sit at the intersection of technology, economics, and customer behavior, where systems either compound or quietly break.I’m particularly interested in how digital systems shape decisions. That’s the focus of Frictology, my research on friction, agency, and depth in AI-driven experiences. Most products remove friction. I’m interested in when that’s a mistake.I mentor on leadership, product strategy, and building systems that actually hold up under scale.Outside of work: father, traveler, and occasional deep dive into philosophy and vintage tech.
