   Selected as one of the first team members to build SMBC’s first-ever EUC (End User Computing) governance program in preparation for a 2025 Federal Reserve regulatory exam.• Led the end-to-end rollout across the Americas, including the U.S, Canada, and Brazil, helping scale the program from zero oversight to full operational maturity.• Directed Phase 1 of the program: identified and registered EUCTs into a new centralized inventory system.• Led Phase 2: facilitated risk assessments and tiering, and drove the implementation of 9 mandatory EUCT controls including documentation, versioning, change management, inventory tracking, access management, BCP, data retention, data quality, and functional testing.• Supported Phase 3: advised on retirement of legacy EUCTs and migration to IT-managed solutions to reduce long-term operational risk.• Acted as the go-to resource for cross-border compliance guidance and control implementation, directly training dozens of business units and ensuring successful regulatory alignment.Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), a member of SMBC Group, is one of Japan’s largest and most influential financial institutions.
