Jan 2010 — Present · Seattle, WA, US
Co-Founded in 2010 to address the social isolation, violence and mental health disparities faced by LGBTQ youth. In my capacity as a content expert, private and public institutions across Canada and the U.S. have retained Revelry’s training and consultation services on issues of gender, sexual diversity, leadership and service delivery models.Successfully directed and produced an award winning documentary film, “PUT THIS ON THE {MAP}” - the 2010 Best Local Film: Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival. Premiered film at the Kirkland Performance Center and the sold-out event was attended by elected officials, local law enforcement and over 400 youth, families and community members. Notably the largest LGBTQ event in East King County\'s history. Documentary resulted in increased community awareness about the disparities faced by LGBTQ youth and recommendations for service improvement across the region and beyond.Currently providing training and consultation to 30 organizations funded by King County’s Best Starts for Kids, Youth and Family Homeless Prevention Initiative. Through in-depth trainings and learning circles scheduled quarterly in 2017, participants will learn the foundations of gender and sexual diversity, complete a comprehensive assessment and receive hands-on technical support in order to increase access for LGBTQ community members.Clients include:• King County (Seattle, WA) • City of Bellevue (Bellevue, WA) • Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention (Seattle, WA)• King County Library System (Bellevue, WA)• University of Oregon (Eugene, OR) • Stony Brook University (Long Island, NY)• Clark County Public Health (Vancouver, WA) • Americorps (Seattle, WA) • Justice for Girls Coalition (Seattle, WA) • NAVOS (Seattle, WA) • Friends of Youth (Issaquah, WA)• Charles Wright Academy (Tacoma, WA)• Lake Washington Girls Middle School (Seattle, WA)• Hedgebrook (Seattle, WA)
