ABOUT MK DRIVER TRAINING DEAN HEASLEY
My driving career started in 1978 working for the Ministry Of Defence on the Ambulance service and I observed many road traffic incidents and had to deal with many fatalities. Through this experience, it drove me forward to train and enhance my knowledge for the prevention of road traffic incidents. I became self employed from 1984, and have been Registered with the DSA (Driving Standard Agency) as a Grade 6 Approved Driving Instructor and also on the DSA Fleet Driver Training Register. More recently I passed a ROSPA National Diploma in Practical Theoretical and Presentational Skills to deliver in Advanced Driving Techniques. This entitles me to hold an NVQ3 in Driver Training and I am a senior Skid car Instructor for MK Driver Training. I also work on behalf of Silverstone circuit as one of their Instructors teaching how to recognise and deal with all types of skids. In 2005 I became company director for MK Driver Training where I provide B+E, C1, C1+E, D1 and D1+E training so that a vast range of individuals, whether personal or professional, from all walks of life can take their tests. I have had overwhelmingly positive results, putting MK Driver Training well above the national standard pass rate (%) in all categories mentioned. I provide driver training for a vast amount of ambulance services, private and NHS, in order to help their driver obtain their C1 licence entitlements so they can drive the ambulances safely and legally. South Central Ambulance Service, East Midlands Ambulance Service and East of England Ambulance Service are to name but a few. In 2013 I became a DAT (Driver Assessor/Trainer) for MiDAS (Minibus Drivers Awareness Scheme) on behalf of the CTA (Community Transport Association), providing MiDAS Courses up and down the country for a wide variety of organisations. With my wealth of knowledge and expertise I can be of huge benefit in helping anybody to achieve almost anything they desire within the driver training industry.
