Director of Access – Genesis Digital LLCPosition Overview:The Director of Access at Genesis Digital LLC is responsible for managing company-wide access to software and digital tools, ensuring that team members have the appropriate permissions while maintaining security and cost efficiency. This role is crucial in facilitating seamless operations, optimizing software procurement, and safeguarding company data. The Director of Access works cross-functionally with department heads, executives, HR, and Finance to align software access with business needs.Key Responsibilities:Software Procurement & Management Oversee the purchase of software licenses and subscriptions based on company needs. Evaluate software options to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with business objectives. Submit procurement requests for approval to the VP of Finance when necessary. Monitor software renewals, usage, and cost to optimize spending.Access Control & Security Ensure employees have the appropriate level of access to software and tools required for their roles. Grant, modify, or revoke access as team members join, change roles, or leave the company. Maintain security best practices by enforcing least-privilege access principles. Provide access-related training and ensure compliance with security protocols.Collaboration & Governance Work with department heads and executives to assess software needs and recommend solutions. Discuss access concerns and compliance requirements with HR and the CEO. Establish and enforce policies regarding software access, usage, and security. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal software-related access inquiries.
