About Meagan Payne

Ambitious, energetic, and caring Registered Nurse who is dedicated to driving high-quality, patient-directed care; comprised of an exceptional work ethic and excellent communication skills critical to patient advocacy. As a Registered Nurse, I have gained my initial experience working in a CVICU (Cardiovascular-Intensive) providing care specific to the CVICU patient population. While CVICU is my primary specialty, due to patient overflow, unit census, staffing ratios, and other hospital needs, I have also had the privilege of providing care to patient populations found in NSICU\'s (Neuro-Intensive Unit), and Surgical ICU\'s. At this early stage in my career, I have two goals: 1) continued growth and development of existing nursing skill set and technical armamentarium essential to critical care nursing through exposure to new professional milieus, patient populations, standards of care, policies and procedures; 2) to strengthen areas of weakness that stem from reduced exposure to varying scenarios, resulting from remaining in the same location throughout an entire career.
