About Joseph Kerrigan

I went to school at the Illinois Institute of Technology and graduated with a degree in Architectural Engineering, specializing in HVAC design and Building Engineering.I was hired by SSOE Group,(MEP design consulting firm) in 2011 as a entry level mechanical engineer. I currently have 10+ years of experience. I have helped design HVAC systems and process piping systems on several automotive plants, light industrial plants, and semi conductor plants. I have been the lead mechanical engineer on many different types of projects: Exhaust systems (general, VOC,Acid Scrubbed),clean rooms, HPM storage rooms, electrical rooms, utility layout and routing, make up air, chilled water systems, heating water systems. As a section manager, I have had some experience in interviewing new engineers and designers, I help with onboarding and training our newer employees, I have direct reports who I am responsible for manager related items.I am proficient in Revit MEP, and 2d Autocad.I can use Auto-pipe, and Triflex for pipe stressI can use pipefloI have used Trane Trace and eQuestI have my Oregon PE
