Experienced CFO and operations leader having spent 30 years in the financial services and FinTech industries and holding the title of Chief Financial Officer for the past twenty years. Experience spans the development of start-up companies to managing multi-billion-dollar operations through high growth and down-market cycles. Expertise is rooted in bringing extensive experience in financial analysis, capital markets and operational process improvement to the strategic level, driving sales and reducing overhead costs. As an organizational leader, has been instrumental in building investor relationships, restructuring operations and building forecast models that have produced millions in revenue. Track record includes building successful teams and developing professionals in the areas of accounting, finance, treasury, capital markets and IT as a mentor. Expertise providing direction on strategic planning, financial modeling, retail and wholesale acquisitions and new servicing platforms as CFO of lenders and financial service companies, including Crossroads, Velocity SBA, Southwest Stage Funding, Clara Lending, Home Point Financial and United Wholesale Mortgage. Extensive experience in financial reporting and budgeting, developing and implementing corporate policies, controls, operational metrics and KPI\'s, investor reporting, and managing capital markets as well as risk management. Prior to CFO roles, served in senior leadership positions at Lehman Brothers Bank and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, managing financial analytics and led both organizations through multiple portfolio acquisitions that increased their loan origination and servicing footprint. Earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drake University. Additionally, earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation through the CFA Institute.
