Mark has over 18 years experience as a Talent Sherpa; guiding, leading and managing Human Capital/Talent Management expeditions. He\'s currently the Director of HR-Corporate Division serving the Sales, Marketing, Fleet & Logistics and Operational Excellence departments at QXO. In his previous roles at QXO, Mark was the Director of HR-Operations Excellence (M&A, greenfields & optimization) for QXO’s Ambition 2025 growth strategy and Director of HR Operations and Compliance where he also led the HR Shared Services Center. QXO is the largest publicly traded distributor of roofing, waterproofing, and complementary building products in the United States. The company plans to become the tech-enabled leader in the $800 billion building products distribution industry and generate outsized value for shareholders. QXO is targeting $50 billion in annual revenues within the next decade through accretive acquisitions and organic growth. He previously led Amtrak through the implementation of an enterprise learning/content management platform, designed the Amtrak strategic workforce planning process, led the implementation of an HR PMO, and served as HR\'s strategy guru. Clients he has previously led safely from basecamp to the mountain top include; U.S. Agency for International Development, Department of the Navy, Department of the Air Force, US Patent and Trademark Office, General Services Administration, Federal Acquisition Institute, Department of Agriculture, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Across all these journeys he consulted on strategic workforce planning, organizational optimization and design, talent strategy development, HR policy analysis and compliance, HR ROI, talent analytics, and leadership development.
