ABOUT MIGUEL JIMENEZ
This will sound silly, but I think my godfather giving me a PlayStation 2 at age 5 changed my life.First it was games like Tigger\'s Honey Hunt and Jack and Daxter, but as I grew older I kept diving deeper into the gaming world, and those games led me to write my own storylines for established and original franchises. Nevertheless, there was always the question of how these characters and worlds I had imagined could be brought to reality. The answer to the question was programming.After earning a bachelor\'s degree in computer science I joined GitHub, with whom I did two internships during university. On my day-to-day I use Ruby on Rails to help build, maintain and operate components of github.com, which requires being able to communicate clearly, share observations and participate in discussions.Wherever I go, whether we are talking about Ruby on Rails, APIs, game development on Unity or Git, or about movies, video games, classic rock and new wave, soccer, travel or anything else, the idea is to have fun, enjoy what we do and reach the next goals.
