I am a technologist and scientist working to shape policy to capitalize on the opportunities and avoid the potential negative consequences of new and emerging technologies. I research the national security implications of emerging technologies like AI, quantum computing, robotics, and more. My goal is to create high-quality, innovative, and objective analysis that will help organizations make good policy decisions in the face of significant uncertainties in future technological development, resourcing requirements, and the tradespace that exists among portfolios of programs and potential technologies.
