Full-stack software engineer with deep background in front-end design and professional photography, and special interests in those places where software and photography overlap, and in responsive web-design.I am experienced in using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, React.js, Node.js and Express, Git, Webpack, SQL databases including MySQL, Postgres, and SQLite, noSQL databases MongoDB and Apache Cassandra, and Redis.I firmly believe that software has a social obligation to positively impact our lives and the way that we interact with the world, and to solve real-world problems. As a part of Backlight\'s development team, I have built tools allowing photographers to improve their businesses through meaningful online interactions with clients, impactful presentation of imagery, and purposeful design for social media integration and search engine optimization. As a photographer, I am experienced using Fuji, Nikon and Canon camera systems, film and digital photography, commercial photography in studio and on location, and skilled in photo post-processing and color correction, using Capture One Pro, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom.
