About Mary Jane Janie Huber
I\'m Janie, and I\'m passionate about using chemistry and science to improve our health. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor\'s in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering, with minors in Spanish and Technology & Management. I recently completed Abbott\'s Operations Professional Development Program, a three-year rotational program designed to develop management and technical skills. While navigating rotations in procurement, quality engineering, supervision, and project engineering, I unlocked a passion for people and a drive for constant learning. I currently work as a systems engineer on Abbott\'s Alinity ci diagnostic instruments. I get to use chemical, electrical, and mechanical engineering to provide accurate, precise diagnoses to millions of people worldwide.I am passionate about designing & manufacturing products that help us live longer, healthier, and calmer lives. I love learning about food chemistry and the impact that diet has on the whole body. I enjoy leading technical teams both large and small, and I am always looking for opportunities to grow and learn new skills.
