ABOUT MITUN PATEL
I\'ve taken a rather convoluted route, within market access, to get where I am today. Whilst specialising in market access, pricing and commerical strategy in the pharmaceutical industry I\'ve also worked on supply chain and distribution, in- and out-licensing, process / stategy transformation and supplier and affiliate management. Being involved in these activities has allowed me to learn about the wider healthcare industry and how our (ever-growing) market access bubble fits within it. I\'ve also worked heavily in pricing outside of pharma (with the likes of Lego, Coca-Cola, Samsung and Adidas)- these experiences have fuelled my belief in utilising data to optimise outcomes. My (just over a) decade of experience is split between consulting and industry - where I\'ve been lucky enough to experience the worlds of niche generics and orphan drugs!
