ABOUT MITRASHIS BASU ROY

The thought of being able to influence the whole world while sitting in a room was an idea that fascinated me as a child so when I took my first coding class in eighth grade, I knew it was right up my alley. Since then I have expanded my fields of interest to include entrepreneurship and investing. With the recent boom in fintech and ed-tech start-ups, I have got interested in blockchain implementation techniques and machine learning as I aim to contribute my part in these growing fields. India- unfortunately -has massive financial illiteracy, and I believe, we can change it by harnessing the power of Computer science and compounding. I-currently-am educating myself in various skills, so that, the idea I had in my childhood, could become a reality.Skills I am currently working on are- C++, python, and Front-end development. I am confident about my level of proficiency in MS Excel, HTML, CSS, Java (intermediate). I am a critical thinker and a good communicator who can get along with people very easily. I am also confident about my public speaking skills as I have participated in various debate/theatre programs throughout my school life.
