Mitra Van is the Managing Director of Van Investments. She previously served as Partner and Managing Director of Legacy Prism Hotels & Resorts, where she built a distinguished career spanning more than 20 years in senior leadership roles across Human Resources, Payroll Administration, Compliance, Operations, and Business Development. Mitra began her hospitality career at the historic Adolphus Hotel in Downtown Dallas in accounting and went on to specialize in compensation and human resource systems throughout her 23-year career. Among her many accomplishments, she led the successful implementation of a new Human Resources and Payroll platform at Prism, impacting more than employees. Prior to her tenure at Prism, she held an executive role at McAfee, where she managed payroll and benefits administration for over employees worldwide. After the sale of Prism Hotels & Resorts to Ambridge Hospitality in 2021 and her departure from Aimbridge in December 2023, Mitra and her husband, Steve Van, launched “Van Investments”, a new venture through which she continues to leverage her expertise in operations, business strategy, and investment opportunities.
