About Mithun John Jacob
As a product manager, I had a delightful product management experience in working with early-stage/bootstrapped start-ups as well as with MNCs like Samsung, Western Digital, Booking.com, Tripadvisor, Kohler, etc As a Project Manager, I managed custom applications development or large business applications for end customers during their Digital Transformation Journey. The projects included Web Apps, Mobile Apps, eCommerce Portals, Microservices, Monoliths, API Development/Integrations and ERPs. Typical project sizes were in the range of US$5-10 million involving 25-50 team members, both offshore and onsite. With my hands-on experience on agile delivery and scrum methodology, I discuss and prioritize the requirements with Product Owners, conduct workshops for backlog planning, run daily scrums and customer demos followed by sprint retrospectives. Making great products is taking bets because it\'s not an exact science since we are working with limited information: You can\'t map all the opportunities of all your users The veracity of the available data will never be 100% There is so much unknown parameters Most of the time I\'ve to act quickly My role was to identify the right bets with the resources I have (time and effort of the product team). In other words, I’ve always ensured that my product team is always working on the most impactful problem
