ABOUT MITHIL JOSHI

Aerospace | Space Systems | AI & Machine Learning | Digital Signal Processing My passion for aerospace was ignited during a visit to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, where witnessing the Space Shuttle Endeavour inspired me to pursue this field. With a background in electronics engineering, I built a strong foundation in digital communication, wireless systems, and embedded design, which naturally led me to explore AI-driven signal processing for space applications. Throughout my Master’s at ISAE-SUPAERO, I worked on retrieving asteroid surface properties for the HERA/ESA mission, applying machine learning and statistical data analysis to accelerometer signals. My internship at CNRS–IPAG further strengthened my expertise, where I developed onboard data compression algorithms and simulated radar signals for the Juventas radar system. I am particularly excited about interdisciplinary collaboration, aspiring to grow in systems engineering and contribute to the future of space technology. Technical Skills: Deep Learning (CNN, RNN), Digital & RF Signal Processing, Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow), Embedded C/C++, MATLAB, Satellite Communications.
