About Mitchell Starkey
I\'m a farm boy turned software engineer from Indiana. I love to learn new things, teach/mentor aspiring developers, and collaborate with coworkers to get things done. Following Indiana University, I was accepted into the +70 hours/week Designation (now FlatIron) bootcamp in Chicago where I gained experiences and skills necessary for a full stack designer; UX/UI design + front end development.Following the educational years, I worked for ALTOUR in Louisville, KY and PCH in NYC for around 2 years each. During my free time I enjoyed mentoring/teaching my own class at the local Code Louisville bootcamp and I continue to mentor for Golden Door Scholars and Road2Hire today.
