   Manage the Entrepreneurial Services team as we provide technical assistance, deliver relevant training for all aspects of a client\'s business development, and organize networking events in order to meet the needs of Chicago’s entrepreneurial community. Focused on increasing services to minorities and underserved neighborhoods. Obtained over $1.3M in government and foundation grant funding. Funding grew from $549K to over $1.8M. Cultivated new relationships, wrote grant applications, developed programs, budgeted, maintained sufficient resources, and tracked KPIs delivering on these grantors’ expectations. Cultivate and maintain relationships with community groups, agencies, educational institutions, and businesses. Lead strategic planning committee responsible for evaluating, developing, and refining the organization\'s strategic goals, tactics, and measures. Manage communications with the Board. Secured capital to completely fund new IT systems and new access to capital program. Develop hiring, onboarding, and training plans for new staff, resulting in reduced attrition and increased productivity. Oversee task force researching best practices of business service organizations within Chicago\'s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Supervise Plan for Profit program, the WBDC’s most comprehensive multi-week training program for entrepreneurs learning to work on their business, whether they are startups or emerging businesses. Manage marketing, promotion, and recruitment for program which includes coordinating curriculum and logistics. Coordinate vendor galleria event plan for annual gala for 300+ attendees which involves managing logistics, recruiting and booking vendors, budgeting, and marketing. Provide mentoring services and entrepreneurial seminars at 1871, 2112, Inc, the City of Chicago’s Small Business Solution Station, Forest Park Library, CHA District 3 Field Office, and the Polsky Exchange.
