A servant leader who is constantly working to find the opportunity to assist those in need and to create more efficient and successful ways of performing. This has created a desire to pursue the field of nursing in order to help those who are in some of their worst times of life. During my years of experience as an associate at In-N-Out Burger, I have been able to learn the necessity of the cohesiveness of teamwork. Additionally, as a resident advisor to freshman students, I am learning the need for mentorship and guidance from individuals who have experienced more life. All of these experiences have developed my love of serving people in the most needed way and specifically in the way they want to be served.

As a Clinical Nurse IV on the Hematology floor, l work along side a team to provide direct care to patients with hematological diseases including leukemia and lymphoma. I administer chemotherapy, blood and products and perform bone marrow transplants. I also function as the charge nurse over the 18 bed unit which cares for high acuity patients including trach/vent patients.
