ABOUT MITCHELL DEAN HARRIS
I go about my daily interactions, both personally and professionally, with a sense of curiosity of how I can be of service to others and I’m truly guided by the hopes of leaving people better off or more confident in their abilities after interacting with me. My colleagues describe me as someone who is a natural and supportive leader with strong communication skills. Two of my proudest contributions to this point have been: 1. Planned a Narcan training that was attended by 200+ students and the keynote speaker was NY State Senator Andrew Lanza. I believe this training had the ultimate impact on the audience. It gave them the knowledge and ability to save lives 2. Incorporated my own style of community outreach and coordinated over 300 Mental Health First Aid Trainings which were attended by over participants, leading my team while supporting their efforts to have similar impactMy upbringing, values and experience have led to me having a track record of tremendous success in both leading and collaborating with others to make positive change in the world.
