About Mitchell Vaughn

Attended Drury University and obtained my Bachelor in Science degree with a Biochemistry focus. This degree was initially used as a pre-medical degree and benefits my current passion in the pharmaceutical sales setting. I have a broad understanding in anatomy, physiology, immunology, and microbiology and can utilize my knowledge in these areas to my advantage for my future in pharmaceutical sales. My previous job experience as a Clinical Regional Sales Specialist with DePuy Synthes at Johnson & Johnson provided me the ability to provide expert opinions in the operating room, while maintaining relationships with surgeons and staff members. I’ve obtained proficient skills in analyzing clinical anatomy within Orthopedics. Furthermore, I developed a high work ethic with long days and unpredictable schedules. I gained an abundance of knowledge in troubleshooting the abundance of products my company offers within Orthopedics. Learned to thrive in high stress environment and think effectively when called upon early in my career.Currently as an Associate Territory Manger at Eli Lilly DBU, my role is to drive business results by building relationships with Primary Care physicians to promote Lilly’s diabetes therapies. Key responsibilities include developing expertise in diabetes and endocrine disease states, managing accounts, and engaging customers to meet their needs. As a representative, I also navigate the evolving healthcare environment to increase product adoption, collaborate with partners, and uphold Lilly’s policies.
