As a Human Resources Generalist II at Muse Technologies, I serve as a key HR partner to the U.S. Department of Justice, focusing on complex employee relations matters and federal compliance around workplace accommodations. I ensure documentation integrity, confidentiality, and operational compliance in a high-security, government-regulated environment.Key Responsibilities: • Manage employee relations cases from intake through resolution, including investigations, PIPs, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring adherence to employment laws and federal agency standards. • Provide subject matter expertise in workplace accommodations, managing requests under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and ensuring compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations. • Communicate with employees, healthcare providers, and department managers to coordinate and implement reasonable accommodations effectively and confidentially. • Maintain accurate and secure documentation for all ER and accommodation cases, ensuring consistency with DOJ protocols and internal HR policies. • Advise leadership on HR best practices related to disability accommodations, employee relations, and legal compliance in a federal setting. • Support cross-functional collaboration between Muse Technologies, DOJ personnel, legal, and compliance teams on sensitive or escalated employment matters. • Ensure timely, legally sound execution of HR processes in a contract-driven, highly regulated work environment.
