ABOUT MITCHELL LITMAN
I\'m a third-year accounting student with a strong interest in tax planning, financial systems, and the role of technology in modern accounting. My goal is to earn my CPA designation and help individuals and businesses navigate complex financial decisions. As the Director of Finance for the Lang Students\' Association, I manage a budget, ensuring financial accountability and strategic allocation of resources. This role has strengthened my leadership, problem-solving, and financial management skills. Beyond accounting, I have a background in programming and have explored how technology can improve financial processes. Recently, I co-developed a Chrome extension that tracks productivity based on user-defined goals using a large language model, an experience that reinforced my interest in automation, data driven decision making, and artificial intelligence. I’m particularly interested in how technology can enhance tax strategy, compliance, and financial analysis. I’m always open to connecting with professionals and students to learn and share insights.
