ABOUT MITCHELL JACKSON
A logical, pragmatic thinker with a strong blend of technical, creative, and operational experience.I’ve spent the last seven years building a career in the construction industry, most recently as a Contracts Manager delivering commercial projects across Lincolnshire. Prior to that, I worked as a Structural Engineer at Ward Cole LTD,gaining hands-on design experience and earning a Level 5 HND in Civil Engineering with distinction, followed by a 2:1 in Chartered Building Surveying from NTU.Alongside my career in construction, I’ve spent the last three years building Summit Presents, an independent events and festival brand. What started as small beer garden events, has quickly grown into capacity shows across Lincoln.Most recently we hosted our biggest project to date, our first multi-stage outdoor day festival: Summit Presents: Between the Trees, a capacity daytime forest event which took place in August 2025. Which was a massive success and we will be growing year on year.My role spans artist booking, operations, logistics planning, design direction, brand strategy, and leading a growing team across content, marketing, and production.I’m currently taking time away from full-time employment to focus on three things:• Scaling Summit Presents into a year-round events brand• Completing a full self-build camper van conversion• Travelling Europe while creating content and documenting the processMy background gives me a unique mix of structured problem-solving, communication, creativity, and the ability to manage complex projects from idea through to delivery. I learn quickly, work effectively under pressure, and enjoy bringing people together, whether that’s on a construction site, in a festival team, or in front of an audience.Strong technical skills (IT, analytical thinking, planning), combined with team leadership experience from both the construction and events industries, mean I’m adaptable to a wide range of opportunities across operations, creative strategy, production, and project delivery.
