About Mitchell Howard
I’m a tenure-track Assistant Professor at The University of Toledo College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Assistant Director of Experiential Programs, overseeing IPPE. I also serve as Residency Program Director for the Kroger/UToledo Community-Based Residency. All great opportunities mentoring the next generation of pharmacists!As a Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist, I practice in both General Internal Medicine at UTMC and community pharmacy with The Kroger Co. I teach across the experiential curriculum, Medication Therapy Management, immunization certification, and business aspects of pharmacy.Passionate about service and helping the underserved populations, I help coordinate our students at the local free medical clinic while serving as a volunteer pharmacist. You may also find me on medical missions around the world (Guatemala, Honduras, Philippines, Ukraine).I\'m also actively engaged in sports pharmacy through USSPG, exploring ways to integrate athletics with pharmacy practice and education.
