ABOUT MITCHELL BEACOM
Mechanical engineer currently in the robotic space. I have a passion for early stage mechanical design: making a prototype and then pushing all the way through to serial production. I enjoy startup and small team environments which involve close collaboration with electrical engineers, industrial designers, and manufacturers. I started my career at Airbus in commercial aircraft wings, then moved to designing e-bikes for KTM, and now develop robotic manipulators for Franka. I am from Canada originally, where I studied by bachelor at University of Toronto. My masters at TU Delft in Mechatronics brought me to Europe, where I now live in Munich. In my free time I am an outdoor sports enthusiast.
