I’m a senior leader in business intelligence, data engineering, and analytics, with a proven record in developing data-driven strategies that deliver scalable, high-quality platforms. My work drives actionable insights that enhance business operations and elevate client satisfaction.I launched my career at GE Capital, starting in frontline roles where I learned the value of empathy, clear communication, and strong leadership. I developed a love for technology, data, and how analytics can drive growth and optimize operations. I progressed to a managerial role overseeing a team of 20 while honing my ability to identify opportunities for improvement through data. Moving on to Nextel (later Sprint), I led customer care teams before establishing the reporting/analytics function for the call center. I developed a reporting platform that reduced a full-day process to delivering operational reports within 8 minutes. As the leader of reporting and analytics, I drove transformative results – including developing a reporting and workflow tool at Nextel that delivered $5M in operational savings within 6 months, streamlining processes, boosting employee productivity, and enhancing customer satisfaction. At General Dynamics Information Technology, I led the implementation of a data platform supporting the Air Force\'s Air & Space Expeditionary Forces. I designed a disaster recovery architecture that reduced recovery time from over a week to less than 24 hours. This earned me an accolade from the branch chief, who called me the most talented data professional he had worked with in his career. In my spare time, I dedicate an hour daily to researching technology, leadership, and coaching techniques. I am passionate about developing as a leader who can mentor and empower my teams to thrive. I also enjoy working on DIY projects, honing my problem-solving skills, and innovating through hands-on work.Currently, as VP of Business Intelligence, I developed data strategies and led cross-functional teams to advance data engineering capabilities, optimize analytics workflows, and integrate technology, talent development, and process improvements.
