   Chief Financial Officer at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital, a private, 501c3 non profit corporation with a $330 million operating budget and 1200 employees. MLKCH was opened as a completely rebuilt inpatient acute care facility in Los Angeles in May, 2015. Responsible for accounting, financial reporting, treasury, patient accounting, registration, revenue cycle, managed care contracting, insurance services, materials management, and fundraising foundation finance. Recruited to develop the financial functions for this completely new, greenfield facility and develop a financial team to lead the facility through licensure, JCAHO Accreditation, and full operations. Facility has highly specialized Medicaid reimbursement provisions and unique relationship with the County of Los Angeles. Facility achieved California Dept. of Public Health Licensure in April, 2015 and commenced patient care in May, 2015.
