Rising 2L | MBA | Coach | Sales & Marketing ProfessionalI’m a rising 2L at Notre Dame Law School. Over the last nine years, I have been involved with collegiate athletics, orthodontics, child welfare, and mass timber (woodlands management, manufacturing, and construction). While none of these areas had much technical overlap, they shared two general qualities: 1) Soft skills made a difference- Fact Finding (bridging the gap between doing things in a very complex specific way and a simple overview way)- Follow Thru (terrific when juggling rapidly changing priorities and moving when needed to take advantage of opportunities)- Quick Start (known for taking risks grounded in practical realities)- Implementor (able to imagine results and picture how things could work, balancing what has always worked with outside the box solutions) 2) They all had questions only a lawyer could answer!I’m not sure exactly what I will do after law school.
