About Mitch Killar

I discovered my passion for analytics and equity management during my time investing part of NC State’s endowment fund in a portfolio to outperform the S&P 500. As a member of Bell Tower Capital Management, I contributed to the investment strategies while pursuing my first master’s degree. Analyzing the company’s financials, both quantitative and qualitative, was one of my favorite responsibilities. Through this organization, I learned how to develop and use time-series analyses and discounted cash flow models, among other methods, to identify undervalued public companies that are worthwhile investments.Along with my passion for analytics, I am also fascinated by human health. I have an interest in the economic factors that drive the development of the medical science field. With this combined interest, I earned a dual undergraduate degree in biology and economics from Virginia Tech. After working for the immuno-chemistry department at Pharmaceutical Product Development (PPD), I took steps to advance my career by enrolling in a master’s program in microbial biotechnology. As a master’s student, I interned as a business analyst for Kineticos Life Science Consulting, where I was known for my work ethic and dedication. Consulting at Kineticos further exposed me to the world of analytics and solidified my future aspirations.

   Portfolio Credit Manager: Managing Synchrony Lifestyle Businesses with $1.1B in assets, including the new relationship with J Crew. Responsibilities include strategy optimization, growth and profitability of credit lines to benefit our clients and customers. Oversight of overall portfolio performance to identify KRI\'s and fraud activity, as well as opportunities for profitable growth. Strong cross-functional engagement with Acquisition, Fraud, Finance, Marketing, Credit, Sales and other leadership teams.
