I’ve spent my career helping both large companies and startups conceive, build, and launch new offerings grounded in emerging technology. I’ve led initiatives that shaped how audiences engage with media across platforms.Some highlights include-Growing YouTube on connected TVs globally from 0 to 100M daily watch hours over five years-Overseeing the American Idol text-message voting program, increasing participation to hundreds of millions of viewers across multiple seasons and earning Guinness World Record recognition-Licensing major entertainment properties that remain top-selling content on mobile, including The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Ice Age-Developing the first-ever video content for cell phones, including ad-supported models, and earning an Emmy nomination for a mobile series based on the TV show 24-Launching the first websites for ABCNews, the Oscars, and The Oprah Winfrey ShowI also discovered a passion for teaching and mentorship, which led me to become a professor. I’ve enjoyed guiding students through the intersection of media, technology, and business strategy, helping the next generation build the skills needed to innovate in a rapidly changing industry. I’m now excited to bring that experience to my new role at WeatherBug, where I’m focused on helping brands and agencies harness weather-driven consumer insights to create more timely, relevant, and effective campaigns.
