Installation, configuration, and 24x7 on-call support of production and DR enterprise SAN environments. • Extensive experience with Dell EMC VMAX, IBM DS8k, and Hitachi VSP storage array and supporting storage management software. • Installation, configuration, and support of enterprise class Brocade SAN directors and switches. Including creation and support of logical SAN fabrics in both FICON and Fibre Channel Protocol environments. • Responsible for delivering high performance production and DR storage solutions that meet high I/O, zero downtime requirements of multiple clients in the travel and transportation industry. • Work with vendors and data center facilities teams to determine root cause and resolve incidents quickly and with minimal client impact. • Execute all changes to client environments in compliance with strict change and incident management processes. • Deploy, configure, maintain Linux and Windows midrange servers to support client storage infrastructure. • Serve as a point of contact with vendors such as EMC, Hitachi, and IBM to ensure the highest quality product and quality of service to our client with a focus on reliability and cost effectiveness.
