ABOUT MITALI THEPADE

I’m a graduate of The George Washington University with a Master’s in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor’s in International Business. My academic and professional experiences span equity capital markets, financial operations, and global strategy. At JM Financial, I supported IPO execution and ECM research, gaining exposure to India’s dynamic primary markets. Earlier, I worked as a Student Finance Assistant at GW, managing budgets for 100+ student organizations and ensuring financial compliance. I also founded the GW International Affairs Association (GWIAA), creating a platform for students to learn global policy and diplomacy through Model United Nations. My interests lie at the intersection of international business, capital markets, and business ethics. My research at GW; selected for the 2024 Research Showcase, examined how multinational corporations navigate regulatory and ethical challenges in sanctioned or conflict regions. I aim to build a career that integrates global finance, strategic thinking, and responsible business practices.
