Manage everything the customer sees on Google Express in San Francisco, Mountain View and Northern California. Own site merchandising strategy and analytics. Responsible for ensuring promotions, top categories and merchants are optimally merchandised across Web & Mobile platforms. ๏ Implement end-to-end merchandising process from assortment selection to sales and conversion. Influence online merchandising decisions for a wide assortment (Grocery, Health & Beauty, Home, Baby and Electronics) of brands and merchants, while maintaining the best possible shopping experience.๏ Create and manage site-wide marketing campaigns including seasonally relevant marketing themes by using compelling online content and engaging product information. Identify opportunities, recommend new concepts and maintain promotional calendar. Collaborate with Vendors to ensure site reflects the partners’ relevant promotions. Monitor vendor sales to achieve key metrics. Run vendor spotlights and feature product stories to drive traffic. Ensure weekly communication between Legal, Design and other pertinent teams to sign off on creative content, copy and assets in a timely manner. ๏ Main Lead between Engineering and other teams in building a Content Management System to optimize landing page creation and module deployment through-out website. ๏ Support technical changes on website through user testing, developing business requirements, training documents and recommending process improvements. Execute ecommerce strategy by creating PRD’s, filing bugs, and communicating feature requests and workflows to Engineering team. Monitor performance of current tools to optimize online curation, uploading assets and improving back-end system capabilities. Work closely with other teams including business development, marketing, product management and operations.
