Performed chip-level and wafer-level optical/electrical testing on silicon photonic device including fiber-to-waveguide optical alignment. Developed new test setups and test processes for high-speed optical communication systems. Supported and improved existing automated electrical and optical measurement systems. Executed Bit Error Rate (BER) testing, high-speed signal integrity optical eye measurement, optical spectrum analysis (SMSR and wavelength) on 100G QSFP transceiver module. Supervised and trained technicians to support optical and electrical testing of silicon photonic devices. Work on Statistical Process Control (SPC) for system validation & capability and analyze Gauge R&R. Characterized photonic integrated chip (PIC) that includes DBR reflectivity test and straight waveguide test of photonic integrated chip (PIC). Conduct details optical characterization and extensive data analysis on 100G QSFP transceiver module. Performed and designed Design verification test (DVT) on prototype photonic product for product qualification. Experience in die attach, wire bonding, and package assembly process of silicon photonic high-speed optical communication devices. Collaborate reliability engineering group to support various types of reliability testing that include accelerated aging testing, hermetic sealing, vibration test, pyro-shock test, and etc.
